A small but historically significant lake in the old city of Udaipur, constructed in 1668 by Amar Singh Badawa. Also known as Amarkunt, it forms a vital link in the city's chain of interconnected lakes, connecting Pichola Lake to Swaroop Sagar and further to Fateh Sagar. Lined by old havelis and ghats along the western waterfront, Rang Sagar offers a quieter, more intimate lakeside experience than Udaipur's better-known waters.
