Bapu Bazaar

Plan your visit to Bapu Bazaar with practical local information, updates, and travel context.

A lively everyday market in Udaipur's old city, named after Mahatma Gandhi and located about 1.8 km from the City Palace. Unlike the craft-focused markets near the palace, Bapu Bazaar caters to daily life, with shops selling Bandhani sarees, khadi products, footwear, books, crockery, and gadgets side by side. It is also one of the best spots in the city for street food, particularly the famous gol gappas. Closed on Sundays.
