Nagarhole National Park, also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park, is a premier wildlife reserve located on the border of Karnataka and Kerala, approximately 80 km from Madikeri. The park is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and is home to diverse flora and fauna, including tigers, elephants, leopards, Indian bison, and various species of deer. The park features dense forests, streams, and waterholes, creating an ideal habitat for wildlife. Visitors can enjoy jeep safaris, boat rides, and nature walks to spot wildlife and birds.
