Kathok Lake, also called Kathog Lake, is a small and calm lake within easy walking distance of Yuksom's main market area. Framed by colourful prayer flags and home to red fish swimming near its surface, it sits directly beside Kartok Monastery. Visitors often combine a stop here with the nearby Norbugang Chorten as part of a short heritage walk through town. Though modest in size, the lake is fondly remembered for its calm, reflective atmosphere and easy accessibility on foot.
