Meenmutty Falls cascades down in multiple tiers through dense forest, reached after roughly a kilometre of walking from the trailhead. The route passes through coffee and tea growing country typical of Wayanad's highland landscape, adding to the appeal of the walk itself. Like several of the district's waterfalls, Meenmutty can close during the monsoon when water levels and slippery rocks make the site unsafe, so a visit in the drier months is generally recommended.
