Victory at Sea War Memorial stands on Beach Road and was built in 1996 to honor Indian Navy and Eastern Naval Command sailors from the 1971 Indo Pakistani War. A flame is kept lit continuously at the site, and the memorial is frequently visited by tourists on their way to nearby beaches.
