The District Science Centre offers hands on exhibits covering physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental science, along with sessions on yoga and psychology for visiting groups. A recently added 3D theatre screens films on topics like dinosaurs and natural phenomena, and the center previously hosted public viewings of comet ISON through its telescope in 2013. It stays open on all weekdays and weekends, including public holidays, and appeals especially to school students and young science enthusiasts.
