Kashi Chaat Bhandar

Kashi Chaat Bhandar sits in the busy lanes of Godowlia and has built its name almost entirely around one dish, tamatar chaat. The tomatoes are cooked down in desi ghee with ginger and green chillies, then finished with crisp papdi on top, giving it a sweet, tangy and spicy character unlike the chaat found elsewhere in India. It draws heavy footfall through the day, and weekend crowds have grown noticeably since the stall gained wider attention in 2024. A weekday visit before noon avoids the longest queues.
