Ovalekar Wadi Butterfly Garden began as a barren paddy field before Rajendra Ovalekar converted it into a dedicated butterfly habitat after attending a Bombay Natural History Society program in 2004. The garden now supports hundreds of butterfly species across two acres planted with nectar and breeding plants, drawing the heaviest activity during the October to December and April to June migration windows. Entry is limited to Sunday mornings, and a guided walk through the grounds is included with the modest ticket price.
