Kalia Bhomora Setu stretches over three kilometres across the Brahmaputra, connecting Tezpur in Sonitpur district to Kaliabor on the river's southern bank. Named after the Ahom general Kalia Bhomora Phukan, it was for years the longest bridge in Assam and remains a key crossing on the route toward Nagaon. The bridge is narrow by modern standards, so stopping for photos mid span is not advisable, but the views of the river from either bank are worth the short detour.
