Sarbal Village

Sarbal is a quiet village about five kilometers from Sonmarg, set along the banks of the Sindh River amid orchards and modest farmhouses. Visitors who wander through get a low key look at daily Kashmiri village life, from tending livestock to small scale farming, away from the more touristed stretches of the main town. The setting along the river also makes it a pleasant stop for photography and casual walks.
