Mohan Shakti National Heritage Park spreads across forty acres in Harat village, about fifteen kilometers from Solan, and ranks among the largest heritage complexes in Himachal Pradesh. Founded by Brigadier Kapil Mohan and opened in 2002, the park houses a hilltop temple with intricate carvings, a cultural museum tracing Indian art and history, and a sculpture garden filled with mythological figures. Surrounded by pine forest with views over the Ashwani Khad valley, it makes for an easy detour from town.
