Teevar Dev, also called Tivradeva, was built under a Shaiva king and his Buddhist queen, and its carvings reflect that mixed patronage directly. Buddha statues sit alongside depictions of the Hindu goddesses Ganga and Yamuna, while Panchatantra tales and Gajalakshmi imagery appear across the same structure. The monastery sits near a Shiva temple, reinforcing the pattern of shared religious space found throughout Sirpur. It offers one of the clearest examples of the site's interfaith character.
