Padam Talao lies deep within Ranthambore National Park and ranks as the park's largest lake, named for the lotus and lily blooms that cover its surface. Crocodiles, deer, and the rare chinkara gather along its banks, making it one of the most reliable wildlife viewing spots inside the reserve. The historic Jogi Mahal, a former hunting lodge, sits on the lake's edge and draws visitors for photography and quiet views over the water. Safari routes through the park frequently pass along its shoreline.
