Parasgad Fort rises on a rocky hill about two kilometres south of Saundatti, believed to date to the 10th century under the Ratta dynasty. Rocky, near vertical sides and a deep gorge cut through the hill, which measures roughly 500 metres north to south. Inside, ruined temples and old structures hint at the fort's former significance, while its walls open onto sweeping views of the Renuka Sagar reservoir and surrounding plains below. It draws history enthusiasts and casual hikers alike.
