Rayong Sunrise View Point sits about 8 to 9 kilometers from Ravangla on the road toward Damthang, at an elevation near 6700 feet. Visitors arriving before dawn watch the first light strike Mount Narsing, Mount Pandim, Mount Kabru, and Mount Jopuno across the Singalila and Chola ranges. The viewpoint also serves as a trailhead for short treks toward Deorali Dara and Gholey Bhir. Dense forest lines the drive from Ravangla, and the spot is best visited between March and June for clear skies.
