Hundru Falls drops roughly 320 feet along the Subarnarekha river about 45 kilometres from Ranchi, making it the most celebrated of the city's many waterfalls. Rocky terrain and dense greenery surround the base, where visitors can take a refreshing dip in the natural pool during safe conditions. Monsoon season brings the falls to their fullest flow, and it remains a near-mandatory stop for anyone visiting Ranchi.
