Dwarkadheesh Temple, Kankroli

A 17th century Krishna temple on Rajsamand Lake's shore in Kankroli, ranked third peeth of the Pushtimarg sect.

The Dwarkadheesh Temple stands on the banks of Rajsamand Lake in the twin town of Kankroli, built in 1676 during the reign of Maharana Raj Singh I. Its red stone idol of Krishna, said to have been brought from Mathura, is revered as the third peeth of the Vallabhacharya Pushtimarg tradition. The temple's calm lakeside setting and daily rituals draw a steady stream of devotees, making it a natural pairing with a visit to the lake and its marble ghats.
