Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum was established in 1875 by Raja Mahant Ghasidas of Rajnandgaon and ranks among the ten oldest museums in India. Spread across two floors and five galleries near D.K. Hospital, it holds ancient coins, weapons, sculptures, inscriptions, and carvings alongside artefacts from Bastar's tribal communities. Stone Age relics, musical instruments, and items depicting Chhattisgarh's rural lifestyle round out the collection, supported by an extensive library on site.
