Swargadwar translates to Gateway to Heaven, and this stretch of Puri coastline lives up to its name in the most literal sense. One of the most sacred cremation grounds in Hinduism, the beach is believed to grant moksha to souls cremated here. It was also the bathing spot of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Beyond its spiritual weight, the beach is a vibrant hub with beachside stalls, golden sand, and sweeping views of the Bay of Bengal, especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset.
