Kundrakkudi Murugan Temple

Perched on a small hillock about 3.4 km from Pillayarpatti, the Kundrakkudi Murugan Temple draws its own steady stream of pilgrims separate from the Karpaga Vinayagar crowds nearby. A stepped path climbs past smaller shrines and open viewpoints to the main sanctum, dedicated to Lord Murugan, with the Chettinad plains visible along the way. The temple is known locally for its lamp-lit evening ascent and for festival dates that run independently of the Ganesha shrine in the village below.
