Rabdentse Ruins mark the site of Sikkim's second capital, active from 1670 to 1814 before Gorkha invasions forced the seat of power further north. A short forest walk leads to the remains of the fort and palace, divided between a former royal quarter and a religious section with three stone chortens built for the royal family. The site now sits within the Sidkeong Tulku Park sanctuary, drawing birdwatchers alongside history visitors.
