Sanasar Lake takes its name from two small lakes, Sana and Sar, set within a wide meadow about 20 kilometres from Patnitop. Often called Mini Gulmarg for its resemblance to the Kashmir hill station, the spot draws visitors for its golf course, paragliding launches, and open grassland ideal for picnics. Pine forest frames the meadow on most sides, and the cooler air makes it a favoured stop on the Patnitop to Nathatop circuit for travellers looking to slow down.
