Billoo Ki Powri is a stairway of 270 steps carved directly into the rock face along the route between Patnitop and Sanasar. The old rulers of the Chenani principality built it as a shortcut connecting the hill settlements to the town of Batote below, and the stonework has held up despite its age. Travellers heading toward Sanasar often stop here for the unusual sight of a staircase running straight down a mountain slope, and it makes for a brief but distinctive detour on the way.
