Built where the Beas and Chakki rivers meet, Kathgarh Temple houses two lingams said to represent Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, standing a few feet apart in a shared sanctum. Local belief holds that the distance between them shifts slightly around Nag Panchami and Shivratri. The temple's roman-styled architecture sets it apart from other shrines in the region, and its riverside setting about 25 kilometers from Pathankot makes it a popular stop on Pathankot day trips.
