Seethargundu Viewpoint

A cliffside viewpoint inside a tea estate with a waterfall, believed to be where Rama and Sita once rested.

Seethargundu Viewpoint sits inside the Poabs tea estate a few kilometers from Nelliyampathy town, framed by tea, coffee, and cardamom plantations along the Western Ghats. Local legend holds that Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita rested here during their exile, giving the spot its name. A short walk from the parking area leads to a rocky ledge with views over the Kollengode plains and a distant waterfall, though the unfenced edges call for caution with children.
