Yarab Tso Lake

Yarab Tso Lake sits near Sumur village, reached only by a twenty minute uphill walk since no road leads to it. Its still, clear water reflects the surrounding mountains, and locals ask visitors not to wash or swim here out of respect for its sacred status. The lake's small size and lack of easy access have kept it relatively unvisited compared to Nubra's larger attractions.
