Panamik Hot Springs sit at the northern edge of Nubra Valley, where sulfur rich water emerges naturally and has long been used by locals for its believed healing effects. Small bathing enclosures have been built around the source, offering a simple but welcome stop after a day of mountain travel. The village itself, near the Siachen approach, has a remote, end of the road character.
