Ashok Sagar (Jankampet Lake)

Ashok Sagar, also called Jankampet Lake, sits about nine kilometers from Nizamabad on the route toward the Saraswathi temple at Basar. The reservoir has been developed into a landscaped garden spread across roughly two acres, featuring a rock garden, an octagonal restaurant, and a swinging bridge across the water. Boating facilities and a children's park round out the amenities, making it a popular half day outing for families visiting the area.
