Namchi Helipad Viewpoint sits about five kilometers from town at roughly 5000 feet, built originally as a helicopter landing site but now valued chiefly for its views. On clear days, visitors can see Mount Kanchenjunga rising above the ridgelines, along with the rolling plains of Bengal in the distance. The Temi Tea Garden is visible from certain angles, adding a cultivated green foreground to the mountain backdrop. It works well as a short stop for photography without requiring a long detour from the main sightseeing route.
