Mayureshwar Wildlife Sanctuary covers just over five square kilometres of dry scrub and open grassland near Supe village, among India's smallest protected areas. Visitors drive or walk along unpaved tracks past babul thickets and seasonal ponds, spotting chinkara herds, striped hyenas, grey wolves, and foxes in the open. Watchtowers along the route give wide views over the grassland. Winter mornings bring the best sightings, when cool weather keeps animals moving freely across the scrub.
