Old Mon Village sits a short 5 kilometer drive from the current town and represents the earlier settlement from which Mon grew. Documentation on the village beyond its proximity and name remains thin, and on ground verification is recommended before treating it as a standalone attraction. It offers a low effort add on for travelers already exploring Mon town who want a quick sense of the area's older village layout, though it lacks the distinct landmarks found at Shangnyu or Chui.
