Chui Village sits close to Mon town and offers a step back into traditional Konyak life, with buildings and customs that feel largely untouched by modern change. The village's Angh house ranks among the largest in the district and traditionally displayed human skulls at its entrance, now preserved as historical artefacts rather than symbols of power. Chui is also recognized for its craftsmanship, particularly gun and gunpowder making alongside bamboo and woodwork. Its ethnic village status makes it a valuable stop for understanding pre Christian Konyak society.
