Meppadi Spice and Souvenir Shops

Scattered through the town center, the Meppadi Spice and Souvenir Shops sell cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and other produce grown on the surrounding estates, alongside packaged Wayanad tea and small souvenirs. Most are family-run counters rather than large stores, with prices generally lower than in touristier parts of Wayanad like Kalpetta. Travelers passing through en route to Chembra Peak or Soochipara Falls often stop here to pick up spices directly from the growing region rather than buying packaged versions elsewhere.
