One of Mathura's most revered Shiva temples, Bhuteshwar Mahadev is believed to be the protective deity of the city. Part of the Mathura Panchkoshi parikrama circuit, it draws Shaivite devotees and pilgrims completing the sacred circumambulation route, holding an important and often overlooked place in Mathura's ancient religious landscape.
