Wind Farms Beach

A quieter beach near Mandvi lined with turbines from one of Asia's earliest wind energy projects.

A short distance from the main Mandvi Beach, Wind Farms Beach takes its name from the rows of wind turbines that line the shore, part of one of Asia's first wind energy generation projects, established in 1983. The beach is calmer and less crowded than its neighbor, making it a good spot for a quiet walk with the turbines turning against the sea breeze. The contrast between industrial windmills and open coastline gives this stretch a distinct character among Kutch's beaches.
