Built in 1603, the Jama Masjid is one of the earliest structures raised in Mandvi after the town's founding as a port in 1574. It reflects the multi-faith character of the trading community that grew around the harbor, alongside Hindu and Jain temples built in the same era. The mosque remains an active place of worship today and offers visitors context on the diverse communities that shaped Mandvi's early commercial success.
