Jatayu Theme Park

Jatayu Theme Park occupies a rocky hillock at the edge of Lepakshi village, built around the legend of Jatayu, the vulture who battled Ravana while trying to save Sita and fell here wounded. A large sculpture of the bird crowns the hill, reached by a short metal staircase past landscaped gardens. The climb rewards visitors with wide views of the surrounding countryside and temple town. Simple food stalls and paid parking sit at the base, and the walk up takes under an hour.
