Shembaganur Museum of Natural History

Shembaganur Museum is housed at Sacred Heart College and maintains vast collections of flora and fauna across multiple categories. The museum features a herbarium with nearly 2500 plant varieties, an orchidorium with over 300 species, and displays of butterflies, snakes, and moths. Located about 5.6 km from the lake, it includes paper-mache maps and detailed geological information about the Palani region.
