Moir Point is named after Sir Thomas Moir, the engineer who initiated the construction of Goschen Road in 1929. Located about 10 km from town, the viewpoint offers stunning panoramic vistas of surrounding valleys and mist-clad peaks. A monument commemorates Moir's contributions. The site features a small park, watchtower for wider views, and local shops selling homemade chocolates and regional food items.
