Bear Shola Falls is located within a protected reserve forest about 2 km from Kodaikanal Lake. The waterfall is best visited after rainfall when water volumes are greatest. The forest setting makes it one of the quieter waterfall experiences in the region. Forest paths and natural surroundings provide an immersive nature experience away from crowds.
