Tikona Fort

A triangular hill fort near Pawna Dam with a Trimbakeshwar Mahadev temple at its summit.

Tikona Fort, also called Vitandgad for its triangular shape, rises above the Pawna Maval region near Kamshet. A steep climb of stone steps passes a Hanuman shrine before reaching the summit, where the Trimbakeshwar Mahadev temple, old water tanks, and rock cut Satvahan caves survive among the ruins. The top opens out to views of Pawna Lake and the neighbouring forts of Tung, Lohagad, and Visapur, making it a favoured trek for those exploring the wider Maval fort circuit.
