Kambeshwar Mahadev Temple, built partly into caves in the hills near Bera, sits amid thick forest and large granite boulders that give the site a wild, secluded feel. The climb to the top opens onto sweeping views of the surrounding fields and sky, making it a favorite picnic and photography stop beyond its religious significance. Each August the temple hosts an annual fair filled with music and color that draws crowds from the wider region. Leopards are occasionally spotted resting near the temple grounds, adding to its reputation as a place where wildlife and worship overlap.
