Bera Village, at the heart of what's known as the Leopard Hills, anchors most of Jawai's organized safari activity. Its granite outcrops and caves shelter a dense population of leopards that have grown accustomed to human presence over generations, allowing for close and frequent sightings without the crowds of a fenced reserve. The Rabari community here herds livestock within the same landscape the leopards call home, an unusual coexistence that shapes much of the area's character. Sunrise and sunset safaris are the standard way to experience it.
