Sangti Valley unfolds a short drive from Dirang into wide paddy fields framed by pine-covered hills and a clear mountain stream. Kiwi, apple, and apricot orchards line the approach, best visited during spring bloom or autumn harvest. From November to February, the valley hosts migratory black-necked cranes arriving from the Tibetan plateau, drawing birdwatchers alongside casual visitors. A few homestays and riverside campsites let travellers stay overnight and take in the valley at its quietest, early morning hours.
