Mandala Top (108 Manes)

A hilltop installation of 108 Buddhist stone stupas offering panoramic valley views, about 30km from Dirang.

Mandala Top holds an installation of 108 mane, small stone stupas arranged in concentric circles, inaugurated by Guru Tulku Rinpoche and considered spiritually protective by local Monpa communities. The site doubles as a base for trekking and birdwatching further into the surrounding ridgelines. Reaching the top means a rough drive followed by a short climb, rewarded with sweeping views across the Dirang valley and distant snow peaks. It sees far fewer visitors than Dirang's monasteries, keeping the atmosphere quiet even in peak season.
