Dabhai Kund

Known locally as Jail Kund, Dabhai Kund forms the largest stepwell in Bundi, its terraced steps descending in an inverted pyramid toward the water below. Legend attributes its construction to Prithviraj Chauhan, and its scale sets it apart from the city's many smaller baoris scattered through the old town. The carvings along its stepped walls remain a draw for photographers despite some overgrowth at the site.
