Tucked inside the Garh Palace complex, Chitrashala holds the finest surviving examples of Bundi school miniature painting, with walls devoted to scenes from Krishna's life rendered in the region's signature palette. The gallery carries its own distinct visiting rhythm within the palace, reached after climbing through the main complex, and is treated by many visitors as a highlight in its own right, sometimes viewable without the full palace ticket.
