Constructed in the 1680s, this cenotaph departs from Rajasthan's usual royal memorials by honouring the son of the ruler's childhood wet nurse rather than a king or deity. Eighty four carved pillars support an intricately decorated roof, and many visitors remove their shoes out of respect despite its non religious purpose. The monument sits within the same combined ticket circuit as Sukh Mahal and Raniji ki Baori.
