Lalbandh Lake and Lalgarh Eco Park

Lalbandh Lake and its adjoining Lalgarh Eco Park offer a green, unhurried counterpoint to Bishnupur's temple circuit. The park's watch tower gives visitors a wide view over the lake and the old town beyond, while its wooded paths are known for butterfly sightings through much of the year. Open from eight in the morning to six in the evening, it works well as a relaxed stop between temple visits or a quiet close to a day of sightseeing.
